Official blason:
Im geteilten Schild, oben in Rot ein silberner Pflug, unten in Gold ein blaugekrönter herschauender roter Löwe.

Origin/meaning :
The upper half shows a plough, symbol of the clearing of the area in the Middle Ages, after which the village developed. The lower half shows the lion of the Counts of Katzenelnbogen, who ruled the village for many centuries.
