Punaisessa kentässä edestäpäin kultainen ilveksenpää, jonka kieli sininen ja korvatöyhdöt mustat; yläpuolella sakarakoroinen kultalakio, jossa Mantovan risti ja sen molemmin puolin sitä kohti suuntautuva nuolenkärki; kaikki mustia.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 23, 1952.

The lynx and the colours are taken from the arms of the Häme province, and indicate the central location of the municipality in the province. The chief refers to the local castle and the battles during the centuries.
