Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 8, 1929.

The upper half shows the image of the local patron saint, St. John Baptist, which already appeared on the 19th century seals of the village. The base shows a postal horn, indicating the fact that Klösterle was an important postal station. Literature : Burmeister, 1975
