Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on December 1, 2004.

The arms refer to the rural character of the municipality; golden fields, green woods and meadows and a combined horseshoe and triticale stalk (representing old and modern agriculture). The bend sinister is the Obra canal running through the municipality.
