KUSTAVI

Region : Varsinais-Suomi
Former province : Länsi-Suomi (until 1997 Turku and Pori)

Kustavi.jpg

Punaisessa kentässä aaltokoroinen hopeapalkki, jonka saatteena molemmin puolin paaluittain kulta-ankkuri.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 17, 1956.

The arms show a wavy bend, which symbolises the strait that connects the village with the sea. The two anchors refer to the maritime tradition of the village.
