Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 30, 1969.

Laßnitzhöhe enjoys a sunny climate recognised as healing; the Luftkurort (climatic resort) Laßnitzhöhe is situated on a green ridge of hills to the east of Graz. The bowl of silver is to represent the medical side.

The white cross stands for the Teutonic Order, once the largest landowner in Laßnitzhöhe.
