LA COMA I LA PEDRA

Region : Catalonia
Province : Lleida

Comap.png

Official blazon

Escut caironat: de gules, una creu plena patent d'argent acompanyada de 2 cards de 3 flors d'or, un a cada cantó inferior. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 31, 1991.

The silver cross is a traditional sign of the seals of this village. La Coma i la Pedra belonged to the council of Sant Llorenç de Morunys, in the viscounty of Cardona, and the two golden thistles on gules are taken from the canting arms of Cardona (a Catalan "card" being a thistle).
