The arms were officially granted on November 27, 1981.

After the merger with the two other villages, the new arms combine elements from the three former arms.

The previous arms were adopted in 1911.

Wappen von Template:PAGENNAME

Official blazon

The old (above left) arms are based on a 16th century seal and are in turn based on the arms of the counts of the Pfalz. The latter arms are quartered of the lion of the Pfalz and the arms of the Wittelsbach family, who ruled the Pfalz. The village became a possession of the Counts of the Pfalz in 1351. The grapes are a symbol for the widespread and important viniculture. In the 17th century the grapes were sometimes misinterpreted as pinecones.
