English Description: Azure, issuant from dexter base a sprig of sage arcing to chief proper, overall issuant from sinister a hawk's head proper, all within a diminished border argent (sliver gray).

Motto: All for our country.

Origin/meaning

Significance: Blue and yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. The hawk, with its keen eyesight, signifies vigilance, command and leadership. The sage branch represents tenacity, wisdom and knowledge. The silver border reflects the Squadron's heritage in Nevada, the Silver State. The Emblem was approved 21 June 1990.
