Official blazon

In Rot drei (2:1) gestellte zunehmende silberne Monde

Origin/meaning

The arms first appeared on the local seals dating from 1570 and 1620. The arms also appear on the church tower from 1571.

The three crescents are derived from the arms of the Knights of Hund, who had many possessions in the municipality and who had their castle in Saulheim.

The arms are continued since 1969 by the new municipality of Saulheim.
