Badge: Argent a sword Azure in bend and a fasces Gules in bend sinister surmounting a palm tree Or.
Motto: SUPPORTING LIBERTY AND JUSTICE.
Origin/meaning
The palm symbolizes the desert and the fact that this squadron fought with the Eighth Army in North Africa during the Second World War. The sword represents air support to the army, and the fasces commemorate the fighting in Italy.
