Standard: Bleu Céleste the Badge of the 420 Combat Support Squadron, as confirmed by the Chief Herald of Canada on the 20th day of April 2017, between eight scrolls Argent edged Or and inscribed in letters Sable, those to the dexter inscribed ENGLISH CHANNEL AND NORTH SEA 1942-44; FORTRESS EUROPE 1942-44; SICILY 1943; and FRANCE AND GERMANY 1944-45; those to the sinister inscribed BALTIC 1942; BISCAY 1942-43; ITALY 1943; and BERLIN 1944; all within a bordure of the floral emblems of the provinces of Canada proper.

Origin/meaning

The snowy owl is indigenous to Canada and hunts by night.

Motto: This Latin phrase means literally “We fight to finish”, and which has historically been translated by the unit as “We fight to the finish”.
