Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on March 13, 2014.

The oak tree refers to the ancient oak in Młock in the municipality. Measured in 2006, it had over 9 m circumference and it thus was the largest oak in Mazowsze. It is probably around 800 years old.

The symbol on the oak is taken from the arms of the Żochowski family, which ruled for some time large parts of the municipality.
