Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??

For the origin of the frog are more legends known. The first is that it is derived from the Froschbrunnen (frog's fountain) in the village. The second delas with a girl from the village who walked like a frog. The third, and most likely, explanation is that due to the ponds in the village there are always many frogs in spring.

The frog has been used as a village symbol sind the middle of the 20th century.
