Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ S. CRISTÓVÃO - MONTEMOR-O-NOVO “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 24, 2002.

The walking stick refers to the local patron saint, St. Christopher (Cristovão). The bunches of wheat refer to the agricultural character of the parish, and the base refers to the São Cristovão river.
