Origin/meaning

The castle is the local castle, flanked by two elements of the arms of the owners of the castle; a porcupine from the arms of the Maupéou family and the crescent with star from the Ravenel family.

The horn reminds of the former hunting estate in the municipality and the base symbolises the Petit-Morin river.
