Wappen von Sachsenbrunn/Arms (crest) of Sachsenbrunn
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 31, 1995.

The linden symbolises both the ancient linden tree in the village, as well as the many forests in the area. The water mill wheel symbolises the historical water mills as well as industrialisation and the geographical position in the Werra valley. The rose is taken from the arms of the Lords of Hessberg, who ruled the village for many centuries.
