Tiercé en barre: au 1er de gueules à la croix d'argent, au 2e d'azur avec en chef, saint Georges d'or sur un cheval d'argent transperçant de sa lance un dragon couché de gueules et crêté d'argent, et en pointe, un arbre arraché de sinople, au 3e d'or au dauphin d'azur barbé, crêté, lorré, oreillé et peautré de gueules.

Origin/meaning

The cross of Savoy indicates that the city of Saint Georges was founded by the Kings of Savoy in the 13th century. The image of St. George is a canting element, the tree refers to the local forests. The heraldic dolphin is the symbol of the Duaphiné region.
