Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 18, 1991.

The arms show are those of the Burgundy region, with a free canton with canting symbols for the old name of the village, Arbre-Vert-sur-Dheune (until 1789), or Green-Tree-on-the-Dheune. The 7-pointed star refers to the 7 hamlets in the municipality.
