Official blason

De gueules à la bande ondée d'azur bordée d'argent, chargée de deux poissons d'argent nageant et contre-nageant dans le sens de la bande, accompagnée en chef d'une roue de sainte Catherine d'argent faillie en chef à senestre et, en pointe, d'un bâton de promeneur senestré d'un fleur de jonquille, le tout d'or.

Origin/meaning

The wavy bend symbolizes the watershed in the region, with the fish ("flat heads", the nickname of the inhabitants of St. Catherine) swimming one towards the Atlantic and the other towards the Mediterranean.

The broken wheel is the attribute of the torture of Saint Catherine of Alexandria

The daffodil is found in quantity in the municipality, the cane refer to the footpaths in the region.
