Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on ??-??-19??.
The castle is based on the oldest known seal of the village, dating from 1781. The arms with the castle were proposed in 1956 but not adopted (see image below). The key in the upper half is the symbol of St. Bonifatius, who founded the local convent in the 8th century.
