D'azur semé de billettes d'or, au lion couronné du même, armé et lampassé de gueules, brochant sur le tout, tenant une couronne dentée de sable remplie de gueules, de laquelle est issante une barre de métal d'argent tordue en forme de lettre S.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the lion and the billets of the Franche-Comté region. The cogwheel represents the local heavy industry, especially the Peugeot car factories. The letter S is the town's initial.
