Storfors kommunvapen

Official blason

I fält av guld två röda tänger för lancashiresmide, den högra störtad, överlagda med en delad, av silver och svart genom styckande skuror spetsrutad bjälke.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 2, 1949.

The tools refer to the iron works and other metal and industry in the town. The bar is taken from the arms of the Linroth family, which was of great importance in the development of the industries.
