En campo de plata, triple monte de sinople en punta, cargado de un libro abierto de oro, sur montado de una campana de gules.

Origin/meaning :
The arms show in the base the hills near the parish. The book refers to the local university, established in 1976. The bell refers to the local church , built in 1788. The bell was used to summon the people to their work.
