Tatranské Zruby and [[Nový Smokovec]] are part of the historical municipality of Veľký Slavkov. The seal of this municipality showed the local patron saint, St. Andrew. Thus for both villages a quartered shield, symbolising the cross of St. Andrew was chosen. Origin/meaning
Tatranské Zruby and Nový Smokovec are part of the historical municipality of Veľký Slavkov. The seal of this municipality showed the local patron saint, St. Andrew.
