Escudo de prata, três bilhetas de vermelho e, emponta, faixa ondeada de azul carregada de uma burela ondeada de prata; chefe de verde, carregado de três besantes de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: “ TAVEIRO “.

The arms were officially granted on July 5, 1996.
