Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 14, 1969.

The arms show the Blumenegg castle with in front a small shield with the arms of the Blumenegg estate. The castle (burned down in 1774) was situated in Thüringerberg. The small shield is placed on a mountain (Berg), whih is a canting element.
