Département : Côte-d'Or

Blason de Voulaines-les-Templiers
Official blazon
French De sable à deux chevaliers d'argent, montant un cheval du même; à la champagne d'argent chargée d'un château de sable.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on December 2, 1967.

The arms are based on the medieval seal of the Grand Priory of the Templar Order, which had their castle in the village. The arms show the knights in the upper half and their castle in the lower half. The colours are those of the later lords of the village of the Beaucéant family.
