WAILLY

Département : Pas-de-Calais

Blason de Wailly/Arms (crest) of Wailly
Official blazon
French blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The above arms were proposed in 1994 and I have no idea whether these arms were actually adopted.

The arms with the bend and the shells are derived from the arms of the former Le Prévost de Wailly family, the last Lords of Wailly in the 18th century. The crosier was added as a symbol for the Corbie Abbey, which owned the area from 662-1569.
