Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 18, 1985.

The white bars and the cross are canting, the W is the town's initial, the cross is canting for the Kirchen (=church) part of the name. The colour white (Weiss) is also canting. The four coins in the lower part of the arms symbolise the four different villages in the municipality : Grassing, Sinnersdorf, Weisskirchen and Weyerbach.
