WIEN-GROSS JEDLERSDORF

State : Wien (Vienna)

W-grossj.jpg

Origin/meaning

Traditionally, it was a rather agrarian region; and, due to the Danube river nearby, there were many mills. The arms depict two sacks (for wheat or flour) in saltire.

Großjedlersdorf is now part of the 21st municipal district, Floridsdorf.
