These postcards were issued by the Antiquarische Gesellschaft in Zürich, before 1940. The cards were issued in 25 series of 7 cards each and one of 5 cards to complete the 180 municipalities in the canton of Zürich.
The front of the cards shows the coat of arms of the municipality as well as a description. The reverse shows the arms in black-and-white as well as the series number.
