Sobre terraza verde, un niño contornado, tocado con una barretina roja con la vuelta negra, vestido con camisa con las mangas remangadas, blanca, calzón negro, medias blancas, esparteñas marrón claro, liadas con cintas negras; está tocando con baquetas marrón claro un tambor azul con arcos rojos, parche y tensores blancos, que le cuelga a su izquierda por una bandolera marrón claro; a la espalda, zurrón y bota marrón claro, ésta con cordón rojo.

Origin/meaning

The Unit takes its name from the battle fought on June 6, 1808 at the El Bruch pass (Barcelona). It was the first victory against the French in the War of Independence. The shield represents, with the Monserrat massif in the background, the mythical figure of the "Drum of the Bruch" who, with his drumbeats, contributed to the French defeat. Look towards the left to represent the deployment of the Catalan troops that fought the French of the Schwartz Brigade, who, from Barcelona, were heading towards Lérida. The Coat of Arms was approved 29 January 1997.
