Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on April 14, 2022.

The lion is taken from the arms of the Gardey de Soos family, former Lords of the village. The hatchet is taken from the statue of Saint Fris in the local church. The saltire is the symbol of St. Andrew, the local patron saint. The wheat and green colour refer to the agricultural character of the village.
