Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a Maroon shield shaped embroidered device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width blazoned as follows: Maroon, a wavy plate charged with a stylized technical wedge of the first fimbriated Argent. Above the shield, a Maroon scroll inscribed with the designation “HUTCHINSON” 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) White border.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A silver color metal device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height within a shield shaped scroll maroon inscribed “SKILL KNOWLEDGE POWER” to base and “HUTCH TECH” to chief in base metal letters, an escutcheon maroon describing a micro-chip design with a Tau symbol and bordered base metal.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Maroon and white are the school colors. The “T” square or technical wedge is representative of the school.

Shoulder Loop Insignia: Maroon and white are the school colors. The “T” patterned technical electronic board is representative of the school.

The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop insignia ws both approved on 14 September 2006.
