Together, these elements allude to the organizations that comprise the Group, namely the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and the Junior Canadian Rangers. Motto
These Latin words mean “Youth, leadership, citizenship” and allude to the Group’s core tenets of focussing on youth while fostering leadership and good citizenship among young Canadians. The badge was approved on 15 January 2020.
