Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2024.

The two mullets in chief represents chivalry, the building is the castle in Grosmesnil. The two leopards are the symbol of Normandie (and symbolise the Vikings). The two coins are taken from the arms of Chartres and refer to the Chartres cathedral chapter. The diamond and the keys symbolise the Abbey of Jumièges, to whom the village historically belonged.
