Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 2024.

he oak tree symbolises the beautiful nature of the Dūkštos area and the Dūkštos Oak Forest. There are landscape and nature preservation areas in the vicinity of Dūkštos.

The crown is an allusion to the Piarist monks who settled in the area and were active in the development of education and the strengthening of Catholicism.

The wavy bar symbolises the Dūkšta stream, from which the settlement takes its name. The red colour of the shield commemorates the 1863 Uprising in the history of Dūkštos.
