English Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a black diamond shaped device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, a red diamond charged with a red devil head detailed black between the inscription “EAST VALLEY” at top and “RED DEVILS” below following the contour of the diamond in white letters. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: On a Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Per chevron Argent and Sable, in base a devil’s head couped affronté of the first detailed of the field, in dexter chief an apple Gules leafed Vert above a sprig of hops bendwise sinister of the last and in sinister chief a triangle one point to base Black environed by a wreath Green. Attached below the shield a triparted red scroll turned Silver overlapping sinister and dexter base of the shield, and inscribed “SPIRIT PRIDE EXCELLENCE” in Silver letters.

Origin/meaning

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Red, white and black are the school colors. Red is for spirit, white for pride and black for excellence. The diamond shape suggests the four-way cooperation between the unit, the student body, the faculty and the community. The devil is the school mascot.

Shoulder Loop Insignia: Red, white and black are the school colors. Red is for spirit, white for pride and black for excellence. The apple and hops represent the agricultural community, where the school is located. The wreath symbolizes the cadets’ achievements. The triangle denotes the cooperation between students, cadets, faculty and community. The devil is the school mascot.

The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insignia was both approved on 25 August 1999.
