Vert, three cottises in bend wavy or, debruised in the centre with a plate voided, the inner edge invected / De sinople, aux trois cotices d'or penchées ondées, brochant sur besant d'argent, évidé de l'intérieur cannelé.
Motto: La fortune sourit aux braves

Origin/meaning

The Design alludes to the River Chaudière which flows into the St Lawrence River opposite Quebec City. The Motto translates as "Fortune smiles on hte brave".
