English Red; a Mills bomb silver within a wreath gold.

Motto:Audaces fortuna juvat.

Origin/meaning

First World War Battle along the western Front in 1917, where Canadians captured Vimy ridge from the Germans using the Mills bomb for the first time. The Motto transalates "Fortune favour the brave". The badge was approved on 3 September 1928.
